COTTAGE GROVE – “Meeting new people,” is what Manager Marco Santana enjoys the most about his position at Tierra Azteca. The Restaurant opened in May 2006, “after looking for a location for a year,” Santana states.
Santana brings much experience after managing Solde Mexico in Reedsport, Rancho Viejo in Brookings, and Tequila’s in Wenachee, WA.
Tierra Azteca specializes in Mexican cuisine evidenced easily by the “filled parking lot most evenings,” states an enthusiastic patron.
Santana goals for the business are simple, “to become a successful business,” which he comes well armed to accomplish.
Like most Cottage Grove residents he enjoys “The Lakes,” swimming and just hanging out around them as much as time allows.
“Bring in more events,” Santana states when asked, “What could the City of Cottage Grove to help your business.” He is pleased with the decision of allowing the Cottage Grove Speedway to race longer.
